Coming soonEpisode 2: All Different, All Friends
Esiri, Ngozi, Ramy, Leo and Poppy notice the ways they look different, then build something together. Poppy and Esiri put their arms side by side: different shades, both brilliant.
What happens
- Five friends say hello: Esiri, Ngozi, Ramy, Leo and Poppy.
- They spot what’s different: skin, hair, glasses, and who’s the tallest.
- Poppy and Esiri put their arms side by side. “Different shades, both brilliant!”
- Everyone adds a block to build a FRIENDS tower.
- Different is what makes friends fun. If anyone is unkind, tell a grown-up.
Talk about it
- How do you and your friend look different? How are you the same?
- Put your arm next to a friend’s or a grown-up’s. What do you notice?
- What could you build together?
Try at home
Arm to arm
Put your arm next to everyone’s arm at home and name each shade. Different shades, all brilliant.
Build together
Build a tower where everyone adds one block, and say one kind thing about the person who went before you.
Brave words for ages 3–4
“Stop! That’s not kind. My skin is brilliant!”
Then tell a grown-up you love. If they don’t help, tell another one.
RememberDifferent shades, both brilliant.
